Ford Fusion SEL V6 - Function
In the technology arena, the 2010 Ford Fusion SEL V6 comes standard with the excellent Sync multimedia integration system, which integrates audio and Bluetooth functionality with voice-recognition technology to provide slick hands-free operation of cell phones and portable MP3 players. Our test car also featured a tiny rearview-mirror-mounted back-up camera that was actually quite useful for parallel parking. The optional blind-spot warning system, which illuminates warning lights on the outside mirrors when a car is in your blind spot, is effective but paranoid — on numerous occasions the lights illuminated when it was obviously safe to change lanes. Finally, the uplevel Sony sound system's prodigious bass response is a hip-hop lover's delight, and while its clarity leaves something to be desired, you'll be hard-pressed to find a more muscular stereo in a family sedan.
In our real-world functionality tests, the Fusion's sizable 16.5-cubic-foot trunk swallowed our standard rollaway suitcase and golf bag without issue, receiving extra points for its wide trunk opening. Rear seats might prove a bit of a challenge for taller passengers, as there is limited leg- and headroom. But this isn't unusual for a car of this class. On the plus side, getting into the backseat is pretty easy thanks to the wide gap created when the front seat is folded forward. This is especially convenient when installing a child safety seat.
As for cabin noise, the Astra is relatively quiet around town, but we did notice quite a bit of wind noise from the driver-side window at freeway speeds.

Audi A3 2.0 T - Performance
Our 2009 Audi A3 2.0T is powered by a peppy 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine delivering 200 horsepower and 207 pound-feet of torque to a six-speed manual transmission. This direct-injected engine sounds a bit rattley at idle and a tad buzzy at higher revs — which would likely be a turn-off for those desiring a more upmarket experience. Our test vehicle was front-wheel drive but buyers can opt for an all-wheel-drive version as well as a more powerful V6 and a six-speed sequential-shift automated manual gearbox. Audi A3 2.0 T - Performance
Once under way, power is plentiful when you floor the throttle — with an impressive wallop halfway up the rev range from the turbocharger. Unlike many turbocharged cars, though, the A3 is graceful when driven conservatively, with barely a hint of turbo lag. And we were truly impressed with the brakes that stopped this Audi from 60 mph in a mere 107 feet — which is shorter than many high-end sports cars — with little or no fade after repeated runs.(American Pro Moving And Storage Company : Friday 29 September 2006)

BMW M3 Coupe - Comfort
As you'd expect, the aggressively bolstered front seats are tops at holding one in place while slicing up a twisty road. And thanks to the multiple adjustments that include the side wings and under-thigh support, they're also very comfortable and supportive on long interstate drives. The two-passenger rear seat is actually usable by a pair of adults. We had our 6-foot-3 and 5-foot-5 staffers rotate seating positions, with one in the driver seat and the other behind, and in both cases they each had sufficient room and support.
At speed on the freeway, the M3's wind noise is notably low, but that's unfortunately offset by the tire roar sent courtesy of the high-performance Michelin Pilot Sport tires. Keep in mind our car had the optional 19-inch wheels and rubber; the standard 18s may be better in this regard.

Cargo space is large and versatile with a maximum capacity of 65.7 cubic feet, but while the plastic surfaces are easy to clean and allow objects to slide freely, they also show loading scars far too easily. Fortunately, our Xterra was also equipped with plenty of sturdy steel utility hooks and a version of Nissan's Utilitrack cargo channel system that can quickly be configured to secure any load. Underneath the cargo floor, a hideaway storage bin provides space to separate dirty gear from the main cargo hold.
Up top, the Xterra's sturdy roof rack accepts a host of aftermarket accessories to haul your water-, snow- or land-based toys. Included with the Off Road trim is a ventilated, removable gearbox and bright off-road lights to pierce the darkness.
